In June David Capener and Mark Hackett are hosting CRIT at PLACENI
We have been discussing the value of critical appraisal and engagement in practice. The space to be able to engage in each others work is an important part of practice. Yet for many of us, once we leave university the opportunities to do this are few, or confined within our own practices. It is very easy to engage in little critical conversation with others in the profession about current work-in-progress. We want to create a space where critical engagement can take place between practitioners, on the 14th June we will host CRIT. At CRIT we will be inviting an architect to present a scheme in development followed by a group conversation about scheme. Our hope is that this will be a space of encouragement, critical engagement and learning.
CRIT is open to anyone working in practice and recent graduates. We would particularly see it as a resource for those working as sole practitioners or in small practices.
If you have any questions, or have an interesting scheme that you would like to present please do not hesitate to contact us.
CRIT is free but we would be grateful if you could RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org or on the Facebook event page here.
Please also pass on this invitation to anyone you know who may be interested.
